Executive Director - Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor was born and raised in Polk County, Florida, where he grew up in a family rooted in livestock and farming. The son of Charles Taylor and Martha Collins, and the youngest of three children, Chris learned the values of discipline, hard work, and accountability at an early age.

Married to his high-school sweetheart, Miranda Taylor, Chris is a proud father of four and a firm believer in faith, family, and education. Understanding the importance of private education at a young age, he attended a Christian school from 9th–12th grade before continuing his academic and basketball career at a private college.

Chris is also a product of 6x State Champion and Hall of Fame coach Johnnie Lawson, whose leadership and championship culture played a foundational role in shaping his approach to basketball and mentorship.

Through years of relentless work and intentional relationship-building, Coach Taylor has built connections with 75+ NCAA Division I and Division II coaches. Combined with his extensive background in elite player development, these relationships and experiences have set him apart as a trusted leader, mentor, and connector in the basketball world.

Miranda Taylor was born and raised in Polk County, Florida, where she received a private high school education that helped shape her strong foundation in discipline, values, and leadership. A lifelong Polk County native, Miranda married her high-school sweetheart, Chris Taylor, and together they are raising four children rooted in faith, family, and community.

Miranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has a genuine passion for working with young adults. Her background in business, paired with her natural ability to connect, mentor, and support others, allows her to play a meaningful role in helping young people develop confidence, structure, and direction both on and off the court.

Roderick Stevenson is a dedicated basketball coach committed to developing players both on and off the court. Known for his ability to teach fundamentals, build confidence, and foster a team-first culture, Coach Stevenson emphasizes discipline, accountability, and effort in every practice and game. His coaching philosophy centers on player development, high basketball IQ, and competing with purpose.

Coach Stevenson believes basketball is a powerful tool for shaping character. He focuses on mentorship, leadership, and faith-based values, helping athletes grow not only as players but as young men and women. Through structured training, clear communication, and positive reinforcement, he creates an environment where players are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Demetrick Jordan is originally from Winter Haven, Florida where he lettered for the Winter Haven Senior for 4 years. After high school, he went on to play for Central Christian College of Kansas where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 

After college, Demetrick went on to coach for his former high school Winter Haven Senior before moving to Sarasota to pursue his career in Accounting. 

Demetrick has a passion for helping children reach their goals and become the best version of themselves on and off the court.
