Married to his high-school sweetheart, Miranda Taylor, Chris is a proud father of four and a firm believer in faith, family, and education. Understanding the importance of private education at a young age, he attended a Christian school from 9th–12th grade before continuing his academic and basketball career at a private college.
Chris is also a product of 6x State Champion and Hall of Fame coach Johnnie Lawson, whose leadership and championship culture played a foundational role in shaping his approach to basketball and mentorship.
Through years of relentless work and intentional relationship-building, Coach Taylor has built connections with 75+ NCAA Division I and Division II coaches. Combined with his extensive background in elite player development, these relationships and experiences have set him apart as a trusted leader, mentor, and connector in the basketball world.

Demetrick Jordan is originally from Winter Haven, Florida where he lettered for the Winter Haven Senior for 4 years. After high school, he went on to play for Central Christian College of Kansas where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
